As a civilization develops, a lot of new words are created. They allow us to describe processes in length and great detail, but only a few are actually able to do it, precisely and intellectually, using the right words at the right time. In my opinion, IBKK is capable of doing just that.
In 2009, Jēkabs Svins of the Liepāja district, Medzes parish, became VIASAT’s 200 000th digital satellite television user in the Baltics. J.Svins was congratulated by the digital satellite television partners in Latvia - satellite signal provider SES SIRIUS and the company VIASAT.

In 2008 the leading industrial lessor in Latvia, UniCredit Leasing, presented a unique and unprecedented industrial technology yearbook No.1., which summarizes a wide range of information about industrial machinery and equipment available in the Latvian market. The UniCredit Leasing yearbook of informative industrial technology is the first edition of its kind in Latvia. At the same time with yearbook presentation in the Ministry of Economics held a press conference on the industrial leasing trends in the context of economic development.

In 2008, the Latvian Guarantee Agency organized business meetings with entrepreneurs in Latvia’s major regions to discuss government support options in business development and promotion. The meetings were held in cooperation with municipalities and the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 2007, 17 porcelain Christmas tree ornament sets from the project ...A Light Wisp of History and Paradise...were displayed in the Europa Club Casino (Benjamins building). The Christmas tree ornament sets were collectively made by well-known people in Latvia - businesses, cultural representatives, fashion designers and students and faculty of the Department of Ceramics at the Art Academy of Latvia. The unique porcelain Christmas tree ornament sets were available for purchase at the project idea author’s - Europa Club Casino - one year anniversary event. To support the new Latvian ceramists, all the proceeds from the Christmas tree ornament sets went towards the development of ceramic art in Latvia - the creation of a high burning wood-fired kiln.

In 2007, monthly meetings for the project ''Business in Europe – At Your Fingertips'', dedicated to the European Union Member States, took place at Post Scriptum, the business negotiations and private function club in the aristocratic atmosphere of the Europa Club Casino. In the informal atmosphere of these meetings, the national diplomatic corps presented the Latvian businessmen with the newest information about their national economic indicators, promising sectors of the economy and trends, where Latvian entrepreneurs can implement their business interests.
